Don’t go on a diet…Just substitute!

Changing the lifestyle is the ONLY answer to losing weight otherwise going on a diet won’t last
for long and in most of the cases since the body is under the pressure and being deprived all day,
depression will follow soon after.

No matter what type of eating patterns you have, substituting the right foods with the wrong ones
would result in losing some weight. The reason being, the body comes out of its comfort zone and
tries to adapt with the new type of foods.

Remember, to move gradually and patiently toward a healthy lifestyle till the body gets adapted to
the new plan. Do Not deprive your body. if you crave a certain food just go for it! However eat them
consciously which means to actually watch what you are eating. Take one or two small bites to
quiet your craving.

What to substitute?

1) Eliminate everything that has “Low/No Fat”, “Low/No Sugar”, “Low/No Carb” labels.
Food companies have no choice but to add more additives and artificials in these foods
to keep up with the taste.

2) Go Organic as much as you can. A diet free of chemicals will speed up the body metabolism
and will flush the waste.

3) Incorporate healthy cooking Organic oils like Olive oil, Red Balm oil and Coconut oil.

4) Change dressing sauces with Olive oil + fresh lemon juice.

5) Change your table salts with pure Organic Himalayan salt which is loaded with more than
120 minerals that our body needs.

6) Include healthy and healing Organic spices (Turmeric, Cinnamon, Cayenne pepper, Ginger,…)
in your daily foods.

7) Substitute all the sodas and sugary juices with pure and clear water.

8) Make a habit to start your meal with a bowl of salad. This will help you to lose your sweet
tooth and it won’t come back anymore!

9) Include enough protein (size of a deck of card) with each main meals.

10) Turn off the TV…Create a relaxed environment. This would relax your body and your hormones.

11) Eat consciously and actually look at your plate and every bite you are eating.
